Objectives

To fund research projects that employ concepts or tools from physics, chemistry, or engineering sciences, aiming to achieve scientific and technological advancements in oncology (understanding mechanisms of carcinogenesis, diagnosis, therapeutic management, etc.). Both fundamental research projects and technological or methodological research projects are eligible. Original and innovative approaches involving risk-taking are encouraged.

Targeted Fields

Physics, medical physics, biophysics, chemistry, engineering sciences, biochemistry, cancer biology.

Specificities

  • The duration of the project must be 36 months. Projects must involve at least two different disciplines and include a minimum of 2 teams and a maximum of 4 teams.
    • Each research team may submit only one proposal, regardless of its role: project leader or partner in a consortium.
    • The same project cannot be submitted to the 2027 calls for proposals ” Characterization of preneoplastic lesions and stratification of their evolving risks (PNP) ” or “Contributions to oncology from mathematics and computer science (MIC)”.
